Catalyst CAC exists because of a pattern we kept seeing inside residential construction companies, and because of what it actually took to fix it.
We decrease friction and increase synergy in the builder's back office, so residential construction companies can scale.
The pattern we kept seeing
Same office. Three different kinds of stressed.
He just wanted clear, accurate answers. To know things were getting done and nothing was getting dropped.
She was running full speed, catching every ball before it hit the floor, burned out and blamed for chaos she didn't create.
They had no idea where the balls they were throwing were landing. Drop it in her lap, and hope it gets caught.
Builder after builder came to us with books nobody could trust, and the obvious read was that the books were the problem. That read was wrong. The financials were messy because the whole back office was messy, and the person in the seat never had a fair shot. The books were downstream of all the chaos.
The standard fixes only complicate things. Outsourcing hands pieces of an intimately woven office over a wall. Hiring adds a body to a machine that doesn't exist yet. Possibly a right answer, but a decision made at the wrong time. And fixing one area alone leaves the friction alive in the other two, dragging everything back down.
What these companies needed was an operating system: one that touches admin, financial, and project work, connects the seams between them, and lets everything finally run in tandem.
So that is what we built

Catalyst CAC rebuilds the back office of custom home building companies as one connected system, through the BuiltOS Framework: administrative operations, financial operations, and project coordination, seamed together on purpose and run by the builder's own team.

And we work done-with-you, deep in the details of real workflows, because systems installed from a distance don't survive contact with a normal Tuesday.
Home base is Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, on the Emerald Coast, where our roots in the Panhandle's building community run deep. The work serves custom home builders across the country.

The founder
The person behind the standard.
Elizabeth Jones built Catalyst from scratch in 2020 and pointed it at one kind of company on purpose. A longtime expert in the accounting behind custom home building and a cost-plus specialist, she created the BuiltOS Framework and The Chaos to Clarity Project after years of watching disconnected back offices wreck good building companies, and good people, from the inside.
Away from the work, she is a mom of six, usually somewhere near the water on Florida's Gulf Coast, with her dog Rocky not far behind.
